I don't always know what will or won't interest people, so be sure to let me know if there's something I should be discussing.

It is sad that non-profits fall into the same patterns they criticize when companies manipulate consumers. I've noticed universities are, in effect, corporations and guilty of every "bad" trait you'll find in business.

I'm sure most "non-profits" have a tendency to be self-serving, since they want to survive and even expand. As someone told me, the great irony is that an effective charity would work itself out of existence.PoetCSWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12833522103074528608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3203256752741667615.post-74331097825914948392011-03-10T19:56:53.545-05:002011-03-10T19:56:53.545-05:00It's amazing how misleading things are. Since even a non-profit like the May Institute does want to expand, attract funding, et cetera, being confused for a government agency might not be intentional, but it won't hurt.

It feels too much like the debt relief scams to name a group NAC. There are probably a dozen other examples, unfortunately, I could locate in under an hour via Google. In this case, the solution is to put the May Institute name on the front, in large print, and to include a disclaimer that NAC and the National Standards Report are not federally endorsed.PoetCSWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12833522103074528608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3203256752741667615.post-86452962487519235512011-03-10T08:49:49.924-05:002011-03-10T08:49:49.924-05:00This is funny.
